The foundation of the Casale Monferrato ARI Section ancestor (then called "Radio Club Monferrino") dates back to 1924, as shown in the magazine "Il Radio Giornale" (the ancestor of "Radio Rivista") and in the 24 may 1924 issue of the local newspaper "Il Monferrato".

20 may 1924 | In Casale Monferrato is founded the "Radio Club Monferrino", which decides to join the R.C.N.I. |
1 january 1927 | The A.D.R.I. and the R.C.N.I. merge and become "Associazione Radiotecnica Italiana" (A.R.I.), with Ernesto Montù as first president and with “Il Radio Giornale” as membership journal. |
The II1XC special callsign [XC is the number 90 in Roman figures and means C (one hundred) less X (ten)] will be activated from may 18, 2014 until december 31, 2014 to celebrate the 90th from the foundation of what much later would become the Casale Monferrato ARI Section.
